Seven years ago, we took a chance on each other.
The partners at MDW, Angela Walker, K.C., Laura Kanaan, and Tara Miller, K.C. (and a former partner, now judge – Justice Christine Doucet) came to our sessions on leading high-performing organizations.
They liked what they heard.
They had a desire to grow. They had an appetite for change. They all had growth mindsets. And they weren’t afraid of challenging the status quo in the legal world – Both in the way they are organized and the way they operate.
We shared the risk and the gains of that first engagement. Three years later, we were both smiling.
Smiling enough to commit to more.
And now, under Laura’s leadership, the partnership’s strategic commitment, and a healthy appetite for growth and productivity, we’re changing the landscape of family law.
We’re in acquisition mode.
And we have some of the most exciting and innovative projects coming. I wish I could say more, but suffice to say they will be disruptive.
And I’m extremely excited for the future.
