“There is an epidemic of Majoring in the Minor and Minoring in the Major.”
Are you falling victim to that?
Peter Attia made the comment when he was talking about Healthspan:
There is a desire to buy pills, do cold plunges, drink green juice etc…
Instead of getting the exercise, getting the sleep, and putting down the phone and invest in your relationships.
Why? Because those are the hard changes. Those are the ones that require habit change. And those are the ones that have a compounding impact far beyond anything else!
The same goes for Strategy.
The parallels are uncanny.
There are so many shiny objects that promise the world. But they are all decimal dust in the final equitation compared to reengineering the core habits (processes) of the organization.
What is the engine that makes it work?
You have a process that attracts and converts clients. You have one that allows you to deliver that work. And you have one that allows you to hire the right talent.
Are those processes serving you?
Until that is the case, stop hunting for tips and tricks.
Let’s get the basics working first!
