The Importance of RICCE

Want to hear the top takeaway from 346 business leaders who attended our AI sessions in the last three months?

I ran all of their feedback through Gemini and asked one simple question:
What’s creating the biggest “aha” moments about AI right now?

Out of 346 responses, 107 people — nearly one in three — mentioned the same thing as their number one takeaway.

Prompting.

How to actually communicate with AI.

“It wasn’t the tools. It was how to talk to AI.”

Here’s what that tells me:
Most people aren’t struggling with access. They have ChatGPT. They have Copilot. They have the subscription.

They’re struggling with getting value from the interaction.

They sit down, type something vague, get something mediocre back, and walk away thinking AI is overhyped.

Sound familiar?

The framework that kept coming up — the one those 107 people referenced — is called RICCE.

Role. Inputs. Context. Constraints. Evaluate.

It’s not complicated. But it changes everything about the output you get. Because it forces you to do the one thing most people skip: think clearly about what you actually need before you hit enter.

Last week, we broke down the full RICCE framework in our newsletter. The response was unreal.

This week, we’re unpacking takeaway number two — the second most referenced insight from 346 leaders.

If you want it, you can sign up for our free newsletter: https://lnkd.in/ehukGHVq

You’ll get it Thursday morning.

(And if you wished you received the first part of this series, comment RICCE and I’ll send it to you).
