Optimizing Good Better Best proposals

I always struggled to put together a solid Good Better Best proposal.

I knew the value of it. The framing, the optionality it gives a client.

But actually getting a proposal I was happy with in front of them took a lot of work every time.

Now I carry a Plaud around.

When I’m walking through a proposal conversation I just talk it out:

What we’re doing
What the options are
What matters to the client.
Then I take that transcript, feed it into an AI tool with our brand standards and one example of a past proposal.

That’s it.

It comes back with a fully built proposal. Terms, conditions, formatting, the whole thing.

No blank page. No wrestling with structure. I’m just talking the way I always have.

Recently that process produced a Good Better Best proposal where the client came back and chose the Better option. It worked the way it was supposed to.

You can set this up with whatever you already have.

Feed it your pricing guide. Throw in a few past proposals.

Once you find the rhythm, you can turn the whole thing into a push button.

For the first time I have a partner that helps me write proposals faster. And the proposals are better for it.
