Friday I’m heading to St. Andrews for the UNB McKenna Institute’s Digital Innovation Summit.
I know the work Kathryn Lockhart is putting into driving a results based approach to AI integration in the province. And that’s exactly what the ecosystem needs.
This one is important. I’m the AI Entrepreneur-in-Residence at UNB, so being in a room full of New Brunswick’s business leaders is not something I take lightly.
Dhirendra Shukla and the UNBTME program created this position to help Atlantic Canada’s private and public sector leaders actually implement AI in their organizations. Not talk about it. Not pilot it. Deploy it.
As far as we know, it’s the first appointment of its kind at any university in the world specifically focused on AI integration for productivity gains.
That’s the hat I’m wearing Friday.
