Financial Proforma and Consequences
– Triple C Exercise on all costs (cut, control, continuously improve) to eliminate all surplus expenses.
Customer Review and Rationalization
– Line by line review of every customer and what their intentions are in this new environment. Where is the risk? What does that mean for the financial outlook? What does it mean for current production? Procurement? Shipping? etc…
Process & Enabler Review
There will likely be some form of government relief for certain businesses. How will you stay up to date?
Your Battle Rhythm will have to change. Normally you would meet one a quarter for strategic decisions, once a month for operational reviews, and once a week for tactical execution.
You will want to increase that frequency. For a while you will need to move to weekly strategic sessions (financial and customer decisions will give you micro actions).
This will be about adapting more quickly than usual.
